(went to the site that Sars lead me to, we went at the wrong time. Around 1-2 am, the place was deserted. We walked around, observed the area and walked around. Upon my discovery, I wanted to continue practicing my flying abilities. At the specific location, upon flying I began to fall, thinking, “Why am I falling?” “Is there a hell in Second Life?” Then as I fell, I realize the past location was floating in the sky. That would be a great shamanism experience, mediating in the sky. Working with Sars and located a explorer and he gave landmarks that he has travelled to as well as, medicine men he has meet in a Navajo village, near Tombstone. I reconnected to Sars at the Navajo village. Meet with Emi Santra. Said in order for her to talk to us more, we had to go find indian clothes. Said it was role play. Must dress the part to get more information. So respecting the people and their area, as you would if you went to other area of the country. Went back to Tombstone, to try to find free indian clothing, had a different time finding free indian clothes, to cheap to buy any. After a week, went back to Tombstone. Find a Navajo elder, helping people. Ask her if she could help me find indian clothing. Had a slave with her. Interesting conversation with her. Said that she doesn’t know any wise men, but are smart asses. She knew Emi. The first connacted I had. Told her about my interact with her. Wasn’t pleasant, because I wasn’t familiar with SL. So when she asked me to go find clothing I was like ... huh.. what... but where...? Ahmina said, “Oh, scrue her.” Then I realize, she knows her, because she wouldn’t be so rude to say that about someone. I asked her if she knew any wise men. Said “Two Lives.” I was confused for a bit, thinking is it, there are two lives that are wisemen or is that the person’s name. Then she said, “Clyde Slade” So then I thought there is two persons that are the wisemen. Realizing later that Clyde and Two Lives is the same person. Clyde I found up end up being the builder of the Navajo Village, and is actually half Navajo in real life, the other half is German. He even showed me a photo of him and his Navajo grandmother. Very interesting. Ahmina, lead me to the other Tombstone, which Emi later told me is called the “Desert Tombstone” and is where the cowboys and indians take their roleplay to the next level by shooting and killing each other. I was able to obtain indian outfit and return back to tombstone. The next time I went back on SL. I meet Picola, the navajo clan princess. I was thrilled to see her, thinking I could probably find the wisemen if she was named the princess of the clan. Upon talking to her, I found out her husband, gave her the title. Her husband, Two Lives, which was Clyde. She told me he should be arriving because he is schedule to talk to the Apache chief today. I was thrilled, thinking I will finally meet the person Ahmina referred me to. When Clyde arrived, he was dressed like an average person and eating popcorn. Which I didn’t think you could do. I took a picture of it. |

He later went to change into his indian clothing, upon returning back I asked to be invited as a member of their clan, if it was possible. He went into a brief talk about their clan and what they are all about. And then they told me, “By the way, I’m the medicine man and the leader.” I was like “I found you.” He added me as a friend, saying that later, if I still wanted to I would be added as a member, but as of now, I would be a navajo clan friend.
He showed me around the village. Showing me his living quarters as well as the medicine and prayer room. Then showed me the living quarters that he is currently building for more members. I asked him, if it was an exact repacat of the area. He then went about showing me his photos, and I was lucky enough to snap a snapshot of the picture of him and his grandmother. Told me to walk around and tell him which living area I prefer, to tell him later. During that time Picola, was out helping me locate a HUD, which is an attachment that you wore as a protection and score of lives you have. Picola and Clyde told me to defend myself, if someone shot at me. Although, I don’t have any ammo at the moment, they recommend that I get one, just in case. After that, I follow Picola and we found Clyde, talking with other Navajo clan members, Anna and Schitzi. I said hi, and upon talking to them. Picola introduce me and said Clyde was still trying to figure out a name for me. He came out with three, Pretty Cloud, Shy Deer, and Whispering Wind. Everyone seem to like the last one, and so did I so I chose that one. Then I asked how to put it as my name, just like they had above their advators. Schitizi and Anna told me to type in title in my inventory. Drag on to my advator. The type in my Chat Box “Title Green Whispering Wind” and it showed up. Then we hanged around the area. It was funny, because the clan members were occupying the area where the cowboys usually were. So there were like 5-8 of us, hanging around the middle of the road. Clyde make mediation seats. He sat on it and began mediating. So I sat and it automately made me mediate and do moves. Then everyone else joined. It was quite fun. Upon talking to them, they were really family orientated and wanted a peaceful place to hang out. Emi kept mentioning how she went a peaceful place to live. And when I talked to Ahmina in the beginning she asked, “Do you want a peaceful place to live?” Everyone I have met have been friendly. Most of them are talkative, but they seem to know what’s up with new people and want to make sure they explain their rules to you and that you still want to be a part of their SL family. Emi is even pregnant. And she explained the whole pregnancy on SL to me. Which is a long LONG process. It has been interesting getting to know these people. I think what I have learn through this project is not so much, who the SHAMAN is in SL. But the connections that are made in SL. |
